player to identify the sound of the screws, etc.
Try this instead.....Now, when you feel like being the captain, you can still rely on reports from your sonar operator. But, when you feel like being the sonar operator, you'll have a more realistic experience (IMO) because the crew is counting on
you for accurate information, and you won't have the benefit of an artificial aid to do your job for you.

The alternative, of course, is to just not use a mod that someone has shared with everyone else. How easy is that ? Going out of your way to let the modder know that
you don't like the mod, and that
you think the modder's research/testing/etc was a complete waste of time, is meaningless. It's meaningless because this thread is not about what
you like or dislike.....it's simply about letting people know about the availability of a mod that someone else (and others) found to be really enjoyable.
