Thanks all for trying the mod.
I wish to point out that this modification is for the U.S. (Imperial) unit of measurement only. The JP's Ship Dimension Fix is for Metric play.
For your information:
I discovered a bug while doing my testing with the Metric unit of play and using my corrected mast heights. The game will take the metric ship dimensions and needlessly convert the measurements to YARDS in the Position Keeper readout. The Recognition Manual reads in meters, but the PK numbers are in yards (they matched my figures when I ran the tests in Imperial gameplay). When the U.S. measurement is used, there is no such conversion. What this tells me is the Patch 1.1 and 1.2 have their math conversion for meter to yards backwards. I suspect this will be corrected in 1.3, but we will see.
This of course is not the only factor in finding inaccurate range in both Metric and U.S. measurement. The stock mast heights are as if they were pulled out of thin air. The Hiryu having only 20 meters for stock mast height is ridiculous. A complete going over of these dimensions will have to be made by UBISoft as well. If it gets done within the next patch then I'm out of business. But that's ok by me, I can spend my time playing the game rather than trying to correct its faults.
