I did not fire any torpedoes. The ships were stopped, everytime I did the external view they were in the same positions. The 2 escorts that were depth charging me never got very close to me. One of the escorts even stopped at an 8 o'clock position from me and waited for me for about a half hour before he moved again. The other escort kept circling me waiting for me to do something.
I have never heard of a convoy stopping because of a sub contact, you are just asking to get yourself sunk if you do.
Also, this was in the middle of the East China Sea, no where close to a port.
