Maybe because it's the late 80's the warsaw pack for the most part threw down their arms, except in cases where they were forced to go forward by the guns of the Soviets behind them . . . or maybe they are split with revolts in the ranks? |
I would not say that this would be the case. I am confident that the Wasaw Pact countries would participate in an attack against NATO, and not under gun threat. Don't forget that all high ranking officers in all WP armies where schooled in Moscow.
And the WP's plans for an attack on NATO are official since many years back. They can be found on the internet,
www.coldwar.com(I think). The remaining WP countries also had a big role in a possible war.
