I think you are right
Even when their eyes are normal, they are STARING at me... If I go to the Shift-F2 view, no matter where I go they are looking at me always out of the corner of their eyes. Their heads are looking straight ahead at all times, but their eyes are following me no matter where I go!!!! Just like the "haunted paintings" you've probably heard about...
Makes me paranoid, I think they're planning not a mutiny, but a sacrifice of the only human on the boat - ME!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

No sh!t man. I was doing the free movement camera. I moved infront of one of the crew, his head was down. As soon as I got infront of him his head came up with those 'dawn of the dead' eyes and scared the crap out of me! It was just friggin scary
because he looked up just as I got infront of him like he knew I was there. I do not do that anymore
