Or maybe a group of servicemen and women who have seen the horrors of war first hand, and are trying to stop other people (who have probably only read about war or played it on their computer) from having to see the same horrors first hand.

I agree actually. For a while it looked like they were going to shut down the Red Arrows and I did everything I could (petitions etc) to try and oppose it. We need things like this, it makes us feel proud of our armed forces and I'm all for them.
So I really don't understand why these guys want to stop the Blue Arrows. After all it's just bad publicity for them which detracts from their otherwise (IMO) worthy stance on the Iraq FU.
I did however object to the way you called them Commie pinko etc(especialy as they've actually served for their country) because they hold a different view from your own, which is why I posted my first post
That said, I am with you guys as far as the Blue Arrows.
