I live about 30 miles due west of Chicago. It's a 5 hour drive north where I live. Maybe some of us can pick a date and have a blast of fun doing this. Like to to it AFTER Labor Day to make sure all the little brats are back in school not ruining our weekend. It's available year round also!
I have toured this sub in 1980 and then again in 1983. The Muesem accross the street is three stories. First two floors our on all the subs made there. Third floor is devoted to the sinking of the Edmunds Fitzgerald. Interested? |
