Counting my lucky stars, I set up for my shot and let loose as many fish as I could fire and reload before things went to hell (it was aorund 8 fish, give or take).

Anyways, I had successfully downed two Fusos and a heavy cruiser, when the DDs finally caught up to me. About 2 hours later, they left, leaving me with flooding and the like, though by that time I had made it the few km to shallower waters (around 200m). Then things went to **** on my sub. Flooding increased, and within minutes I was dead.

To my surprise, though, I was told after my death screen that I should have faced a court-martial for losing the boat, and that I was lucky to stay in the service and get a new boat.

I accepted, and was ready to go on my next patrol.

Now that I think about it...maybe my SH4 Captain is Jesus...
Well obviously you were possesed with a higher power to drop that kind of tonnage !
