I was screwing around one time during my carrer, trying to take artistic screenshots, such as the sub passing underneath a sinking destroyer and such. At one time I paused the game to catch a screenie of the DD just above my sub... to my surprise I was only a few meters from a mine
It didn't blow up -- but I did as the DD was a bit faster to deploy DCs than I was to deploy my aft tubes.
