Why wait? Patch 1.3 could be months away. Use JSGME and run all the mods you want with patch 1.2. Then when 1.3 comes out, uninstall them all in about ten seconds. Once they become compatible with 1.3, download them and enable them again.

Mostly because I don't really feel a pressing need to change that much about the game. Not yet anyway.
