Yeah, I think so. I haven't seen it since 1.2. I even battled it out with four Japanese DD's the other night after having taken some serious bulkhead and flooding damage to the aft torpedo room. I had to constantly blow ballast in order to stay above crush depth, but I finally managed to sneak away below a temperature gradient.
