The community for Close Combat was able to resurrect the series and recently published are redo of CC3 and it has proven to be a viable product. There are also a couple other projects in the works for this year for the series to boot. I don’t see why Neal with all his clout in the industry and members of this community cant develop a subsim title (Shoot I think the copyright on the "Silent Service" name has even expired as well). Moreover if we cant do it in house then there are several small Eastern European development houses already in existence that might be interested in doing such a thing if approached by the community.
