Yes... i was looking for that, into SH III, damage for symetrical items are separate values... in example port and straboard diesel engines.

Into SH IV, this separate values still present, into zones file, but it seems the program do not use them any more...

It seems the program take values now from .upc files.... and there.... there are not separated values for port and straboard items.

My intention was, and i do it into zones file... to adjust in example a low hitpoint value for port engine, and a higger hitpoint value for straboard engine.

Then a nearest hit, will cause the loss of the port engine, but not the loss of the straboard engine.

This increase the inmersion in the game, you will have many damage but reparable if you give them attention, you must to manage your reapir team....

Only a well aimed depth charge hit, wich can be lethal, can cuase the loss of both symetrical items, and then it is not too much impostant yet... a depth charge capable to destroy both engines, sure.... blasted the hull and you are done.

To have a useful hull and all electric or all diesel engines destroyed seems to be unrealistic... if they are destroyed, sure... the hull is in badest condition !!! :rotfl:

But sadly, now in SH IV, there is a single entry for port and straboard items...
