That was what I thought. But if I didn't have enough renown, I should still be able to see the Type VII in the sub upgrade menu with the amount of renown required shouldn't I? It doesn't show the Type VII as an option... |
Here are the dates of availability for the various u-boat types. So, if it's March 1940, a u-boat won't show up on the list if it doesn't come out until July, as just one example.
