Hi...

Take note in wich sub you have this problem, go to this sub folder and open its sub .cfg file, edit the Snorkel Depth or Radar Depth value there.

May be using the minimun surface value... but you will have problems to pick up planes, my be you will loss them.

Remember radar has major issueson this game, and ships and planes detection are tie/linked.

Your SD radar detect ships, so it detect life boats, if you reduce the min surface, to eliminates life boats, you will losse planes too...

I think so it is not posible, all ships seems to use the same texture for radar returning eco icon.

I never seen diferent eco sizes.

I made a mod to make the eco icons smaller, so you can easy see single ships into a convoy.

When you say Ground are you refering to surface ships ?
We have a major problem with radar in this game, as wrote before, SD radar detect ships, some moders follow diferent way to tweak the radar issues, (no contacts when heading 090-270) in example, Ducimus eliminates the SD radar, and make the SJ capable to detect planes.

I made the SD capable to have contacts when sub heading is between 090-270, but it is capable to detect ships.

As you see, in both ways to fix, ships and planes are tie/linked...

May be into patch v1.3 we can have the solution.
