At first I thought: since everybody's so concerned with Global Warming, how come nobody cared about this election and allowed this to happen? Then I realized: because it's the desired result. If the world (or at least the rest of Africa for a start) followed Zimbabwe's example greenhouse gas emissions would drastically diminish untill being reduced to no more than cow & human farting. Without the industry to support modern armies the equipment would start decaying and eventually we'd go back to crossbows, catapults and small rockets. World Wars would be possible again as well as extermination camps.

The end result: less people, less greenhouse gas, "sustainable development".
