This is looking great - just a couple of questions/observations:
1. I think you have the ensign and LT-JG insignia backwards the way they are listed in your original post above (the ensign one should be the yellow one) - see here for good info/pictures, including info about some of the warrant officer ranks/insignia that might be useful:

2. Do I understand from your post that so far whether these show up or not has nothing to do with the "actual" ranks held by the crew members on whom the shirts are displayed? If not - you might want to consider only putting some of the lower ranks on all the shirts - seems unlikely that you would see too many LT-CMDRs (besides maybe yourself as skipper) on your boat. Of course, if you ever figure out a way to trigger the display to be the right rank for the crewman, that would be awesome!
