1) Click on the HE shell when at the DG view. You now have to load them manually.
2) Not really. You could accomplish it with cfg tweaks but it's just as easy to do it while in port.
3) There is no easier way. In GWX you can follow your port escort or overtake him an TC. If it's too slow for you, you can increase the TC value to something like 256, I think the default is 128.
