Twice I've struck ships only to have them nose dive into the ocean floor leaving thier screws sticking out of the water. I had to Ram them both to get credit for the tonage.

Last night I hit a large merchant with a 2 fish salvo - got the "she's going down" message right after inpact, the ship NEVER sank... Still got credit, still showed the sunk ship icon on the map. Strange.
