Do I miss the old manuals? Of course!
Do I see where/why they got rid of them? Of course!
But, and this is a BIG but, to not have a proper manual in .pdf form (free from weight costs and only requiring marginal effort from a small staff), or even have in-game descriptions when you mouse over a torpedo/ship/upgrade is rediculous. I mean comon, I had no clue what SD/SJ radar was, and I had to find out here what:

3 50cal deck gun
4 50cal deck gun
differences were? For a second I thought these were AA-like bundled weapons where there was 4 50cal guns bundled together.
This is just brain dead simple stuff that takes 2 seconds to implement. When I mouse over MK10 it should give me a very detailed description of what its stats are. Even better just let me right click on it for that info instead of any time I want to move a torp.
What are those map tools? How do I use them?
I don't mind the .pdf manuals. They save some cost, I can print out anything I need, and while I'd prefer to read on the pot some time, its a luxury I can live without. But don't confuse not needing a hard copy manual with not including one at all.
