All I can say is I have been playing since shortly after release and prior to patch 1.1.
Probably have close to 100 hours of time "wasted" so far with this game.
Ive had one ctd and that was intentional "I pressed the A key to see if it would and it did".
My "average" gaming session is about 2 hours or so sometimes longer while leaving it run while I mow the lawn or some such. Still no crashes.
The game handles shelling (switching to desktop) quite well which is more than I can say about some others.
Ill stick with XP for now thanks
