The changing of your home port is pretty important information and there shouldn't be any way the player could possibly miss it. The radio man could announce it, or throw the info into the message log, or pop up the clipboard or something!

It probably is in the message log buried amongst the dozens and dozens of contact reports. Then again It may not.
Somtimes it prompts you others it doesent. The thing is that it is VERY easy to miss.
