Seriously, I wasn't trying to boast and create CPU envy, but simply share something that might make targetting and scope scanning easier for those with newer systems. As far as I can tell, there are no mouse related configuration options available to the player.
A system is only fast for a fleeting moment, for as I write this the QX6800 is already available for purchase. That's about 10-15% more CPU cycles at the factory default clock rate than what I purchased.
One thing that is interesting about SH3 is that it appears to be multi-threaded more so than most games. (The Q series has four CPUs.) Most games will show spikes or a steady plateau on one processor in Task Manager. SH3 shows greater than 25% total utilization; more like 60-70% with spikes on all processors. (Of course, I did select the NVidia option which allows the 8800GTX driver to operate in multi-threaded mode independent of the way the application is coded. Perhaps, I am simply seeing the driver multi-threading.)
