Here goes nutin'

I was patroling west of Luzon when I come across a task-force consisting of 3 CVs, 4 CVEs, 2 CAs, 4 CLs, 4 Chitose sea-plane tenders, 4 modern tankers, hordes of DDs. I closed in on the lead ship, Shokaku class CV and put 4 fish into her (sorry Cavalla , don't mess with the sugar boats) Scratch one flat-top. I went deep to reload...

Meanwhile, the TF SLOWED to 3 knots...

...Torpedoes reloaded, back to periscope depth. I had no trouble lining up on the second ship, CV #2, as she was only going three knots. Four fish later and a gigantic explosion (fuel?) scratch 2 flat-tops.

...and the escorts??? did absolutely nothing!

By 5 am, I'm reloaded and back in firing position. This time, CA, Maya... scratch one CA.

Number of depth charges dropped during encounter....Zero

Three ships, 65850 tons, and one Medal of Honor.

Fog factor=1.0 ;[>=0]
Light factor=1.0 ;[>=0]
Waves factor=1.0 ;[>=0]
Enemy surface factor=400 ;[m2]
Enemy speed factor=15 ;[kt]
Thermal Layer Signal Attenuation=1.0

[Hydrophone]
Detection time=1 ;[s]
Sensitivity=0.06 ;0.03 ;(0..1)
Height factor=0 ;[m]
Waves factor=0.5 ;[>=0]
Speed factor=15 ;[kt]
Noise factor=1.0 ;[>=0]
Thermal Layer Signal Attenuation=3.0 ;[>0], 1 means no signal reduction, 3 equals signal reduction to 33%

Escorts all over me with this setting.
