I highly highly recommend the book Under Pressure: The Final Voyage of Submarine S-Five by A.J. Hill. It is part novel, part history book, part documentary, and 100% thrilling.

Everything seemed to go wrong: the drive motors failed, the main lighting circuits went dead, and their oxygen began to run thin. Nobody knew their location and they had no means of calling for help. It has a lot of great history and is a fantastic read. So, it's been really fun to play as an S Class, because I just wonder if, when I crash dive, my induction valve will go bad on me.
