If you have received 'Base has been changed to.....' then follow those orders.
FYI there are other messages that 'mean' things. For example have you ever received one saying 'Operation xxxxxx is underway'
There are RL scripted invasions, sea battles & Harbour raids that are worth investigating if you're in the area.
