Well,I was evading two destroyers with my Type VIIB U-49 at constant depth of 200 m.Speaking generally,this "workhorse" of Kriegsmarine Aces is extremely reliable under all conditions and depthes of 200 m and a bit over are usually OK for integrity.Once I even managed to lie down to the bottom in the area near Scapa Flow - depth around 70 m.Just like in Das Boot
