I have a collection of black and white photography prints of pinup girl artwork from the noses of WW2 aircraft hanging in my room. No girlfriend or female friend of mine has ever been offended by them. In fact, I've recieved nothing but compliments on them.

I think you might be going a bit far on this one. Pinup girls were part of WW2.
