I'm currently in the 23rd out of Salimis in Jan '42. Love the place. I enjoy the long east/west runs beteen Valetta and Alexandria full of shipping. The beauty of it is never knowing what you'll get.
So far only on my 3rd GWX Med patrol, I've seen about a dozen different convoy configs from single ships with one escort, to big task forces with carriers and battleships. Seeing lots of Italian DD's and even a few Italian multi BB taskforces.
In my 2nd patrol I scored 3 out of 4 light crusiers in one TF off Malta.
The DD's and then aircraft that they called in on my head forced me to make a run for Taranto for repairs before continuing.
This place is the ducks guts mate!
