Hi. I was going to post this in the 1.2 Patch bug thread, but was directed to here, since they only want bug reports from a clean install and no MODS installed.

I have had this bug when running either of the two main MODS(Real or Flavor) plus a few other Mods. I install the MODs very carefully and have had the bug repeat itself AFTER doing a fresh game install and carefully installing all MODs again that are rated as working OK with the 1.2 Patch.

What happens is if with these MODS, i start a career and go immedietely to sea, everything works fine. But if i do any switches in crew members (i start with 30,000 prestige and do a lot of firing and hiring), when i put out to see i see and hear my control room crew members speaking a single number (one thru nine)
over and over again. It's like they are reporting something.

"1", "9", "3", etc etc. There are about 4 crew members randomly repeating numbers. I hear them in outside view mode as well as other areas of the ship.

Also, i noticed when that happens, when pressing the button to go to periscope depth, the depth does not change. But i see the crew member act like he turned the wheel that controls the depth. To set a depth i have to do that manually with the mouse on the depth guage.

This bug has never happened with the ealier 1.1 Patch, a patch which was very tolerant of making a lot of crew changes.

The game is probably playable with less crew changes or by turning off the speech. But i sense it is more unstable and crash-prone when the bug is in effect.

Any ideas what could be happening? :hmm:
