I did some tinkering with a Pearl Harbor attack scenario. I placed two battleships in "Battleship Row" for my air attack test. Upon loading and testing the mission, I was stunned to see 3 carriers in port.
After further testing and tinkering, a certain number of shipping is generated automatically by the game which you may/may not have control over. Carriers were repeatedly placed in port and at different locations. So I gave up my efforts.
Perhaps, the USHarborTraffic layer needs to be edited. :hmm: Just a thought...

Yip, looking at \USHarborTraffic.mis now- All the "diamond ? ships" have a random probability by group association. I am working on a realistic Submarine Base for Pearl for the Campaign layer.
* As a test, just added a subtender and placed a "naval base" ontop of it in the Torpedo Attack mission. You can now pull-up and refit.
Now, the big question: Working on the \Campaign\(random data layer) US_HarborTraffic.mis file Also looking into adding a more accurate Submarine Base to Pearl.
* After some testing, US_HarborTraffic.mis, with non-random ships is the way to go. Got a subtender and 4 subs placed at the Subbase in regular campaign mode.
My Hats-off to the brave gent that gets every ship in the harbor accurate for 7 Dec 1941. A fun project thou.
Is there a Map editor as the shore line is not accurate and we need to add/remove some more piers?
