Beauty and the beast...

Here's beauty looks like it could be an Oil painting, done to glorify some Admirals Office as a reminise of the good times and camaraderie of the Pacific war in Submarines....

The beauty.

And then you get the downright "Ugly" of a flying submarine in 15m winds and howling winds, the waves are an awesome sight to behold, the physics wonderful, its a moving undulating mass of water with "Almost realistic action". Shame about the submarines physics.....Straight line anyone???

The Ugly....

As you can clearly see my submarine is almost 95% out of the water in a trough.

Bugs I can live with for now...As I'm sure they will be fixed...

This is just unforgivable (Maybe a to harsh a word) but damn I would expect a Simualtion that is 100% in or on the surface of a body of water to at least have a real physical representation of the forces acting on that object when on the surface.

My father was a merchant seaman on the "Manchester Liners" for 12 years he has seen this game and quite frankly he has laughed at the non existant pitch of any of the objects that float.....EXCEPT for the bloody Life raft....anyone notice this has real motion as regards wave influence???

Good point- Thanks for the example. Now if you look at the "flying-fish" I wonder if the area below is actually the bottom of the sub's "hit box" for collision detection, etc. I say this since I was coming in close to a beach @ 2knts, had plenty of room since the shore was a steep slope, and every time a light swell went by my sub it hovered, staying pretty-much in the same place in the trough, but my keel would take damage, even thou there still was room between the sandy bottom and my bow as confirmed by watching this via F11 cam.
