Clearly you haven't played SH4 - I wouldn't mind historical inaccuracies (see, I don't need a correct rivet count to be happy) if the game worked properly to start with...
This is a good project, and eventually I expect it will be completed. It will be a long road no doubt.

Regarding the challenges of modding/correcting SH4... Two or three years ago... it was the same with SH3.

It will happen. It is only a question of when.
