Geeez this is so frustrating.  No commander went through the whole war!!! It's not a bug nor "corny" even successful commanders were retired. |
If I wanted full realism I would have enlisted in the German Navy, but I want to have fun and being retired after 6 patrols or so isn't fun at all.
So if you want that kind of realism that's just fine, but what we want is not your business.
