Hi all , I am new to the forums but read all the time. I have a Nvidia card and had the same problem with multiple games and found the fix. Goto control panel/appereance and themes/display/settings/advanced/troubleshoot. Once there de-select enable write combining. hope this works for you , it worked for me and i had the same problem.
