Angle on bow is a number between 0 (directly head on) and 180 (directly astern) either starboard or port. That's what you're seeing with the 0-18 thing. An angle on bow MUST have a starboard or port designation attached to it. AOB of 45 doesn't mean much, as it can be 45 starboard, or 45 port.
