I think that below 10 is unplayable, and 20 or more the good point for play

i have a 2400+ with a 6600 gt 128 ddr3 and 1GB of ram ddr400 and it is on the limit of a specs ,...10-15 frames outside and sometimes less with big convoys,
In the control room and map the game is ok, with 15-20 fps.
Also it depends of the submarine, weather, ...

some hardware can pass the test page but perhaps can only run the game as a slow motion camera, itīs not a realistic test.

can run the game ? yes.. can you enjoy the play ?? No.

I tried everything for improve the performance, defragment the disk, cfg settings, remove placton and other things, but it always is the same, 10 FPS outside ,Perhaps rid off some reflections, or try to reduce the textures of the ships, sailors in warships ,could work ,... but in reality it will be waste of time and the best thing is buy or upgrade the computer

3000 or more 2 gb of ram and a recent vid card like 7600 8800 or ati equivalent
Hartman - best bet is your issue is not cpu/ram related. From the rig description - I would suspect your bottleneck is the GPU. Try running default resolution and lowering a bit of detail - I dont mean bottom line - just ease up a bit. You might be pleasantly suprised.

Most FPS type games (still graphically heavy) are unplayable under 30 fps according to "most people" - but its all a matter of choice. Also - turn off the event camera - that thing halves your framerate whenever its on. Good Hunting!
