I used to be bold until yesterday when I made a surface attack at night on a task force west of Luzon. There were at least 3 BBīs there. Only I forgot I was sailing in a S-18, couldnīt get more than 12 knots out of her, same as a sitting duck for the escorts. I had to swim back to base.
