Hi, here is an Speed Calculation Table (in .doc format, ready to print)

1. Estimate the distance traveled of the ship in a period of time (the more time you take for this the more accurate your solution will be. It´s recomended to take 1 or 2 minutes)

2. Look for the corresponding value in knots in the table.

and that´s it.
