Yes. If you are running JSGME on Vista and are having problems with mods "taking" (the usual symptom is that the MODS folder itself is not created when JSGME is first run), then you need to do ONE of two things:
1. right-click JSGME.exe and select "Run as Administrator"
OR
2. right-click JSGME.exe and select
Properties. In the properties window select tab
Compatibility and check "Run this program in compatibility mode" and in the box below select "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)".
That will get you going.
