I remember, and it ain't that long ago, many of my troops had to have second jobs to make ends meet. That's a crime in my book. I am not talking about young troops splurging all their money on stupid stuff, I am talking about serious mature adults who just could NOT make it on their own military pay.
As more and more bases were requiring young troops to move off base, the worse it got. I am not saying that E-1s should be rolling on dough but E-5s and below should not have to take second jobs just to get by
