'76 was the year I was born, according to me ma it was well hot innit
See, the problem with all of these high temperatures in the UK is that it never lasts long enough for anyone to get used to it. When I lived in Bahrain, 45 centigrade was nothing to get excited about, just another day, you know?
Here we get 25 - 30 degrees and everyone starts to melt. Obviously this has some beneficial ramifications if you're a bloke - all of the hot women dust off those skimpy attires that leave very little to the imagination

But on the down side, the actual heat just irritates me, especially when I'm trying to get some sleep. Then before you know it it's pissing it down with rain again.
I'm not much of a sun worshipper when it comes right down to it, but just as I'm prepared to give it a chance it's gone again...
Spring and autumn are my favourite times of the year, sunny but
fresh.
