I think you can conduct an attack with the XXI using just the sonar but certainly not as deep as 120m. I think the limit (without modding it) in the XXI is about 25 - 30m which is more than the other types.

I have tried fireing torps from the sonar, but i cannot figure how to do it yet! Please advise me. Thanks
