You have to go into the equipment file and change the weapons to ones in SH4...find similiar ones....I had a DD with BB deck guns that is funny...but not practical...but you get my drift. CHEERS MATE

Visually they look this same, however the Kaga had a Japanese circle on the bow deck and only one side smoke stack…my pc doesn’t seem to like to mod the DDS file for some reason…so anyone who can please let me know how. Hey, that's great! I was looking for an example on how to clone an existing ship. Did you just rename the files in the shokaku to kaga or is there something else involved? I tried making a new class of light cruisers for the dutch but all the animations and guns are missing.
The only remarks I have is that your readme is named "New Microsoft Word document" and well, it's a .doc. Just use a .txt.
As for the .dds editing, I can load the .dds files in the Gimp with a plugin I found here. Never really bothered to change anything yet though.
