I might add that I have found it very reliable and easy to create a new user profile in Win XP with very limited rights (Guest user) just to browse in internet. Mine is called "Internet User" and when I run it -like right now- I'm not allowed by the system to delete/change/install anything, no matter what I do. I just can browse and download files, but that's it.
