Not quite. The Type II and Type VIIa didn't have superchargers. The Type VIIa's top speed was only about 16 knots.
Type VIIb on all had superchargers, but the top speed was the one the game uses
without them. No Type VII u-boat ever went 19 knots (17.6 was the max) and no Type IX ever went 22 knots (18.9 was the max).
Supercharger upgrades are a cheat.
