Guess so - one that must be corrected though otherwise we will not exist as a functioning society, but eventually we disorganize into sprawling tribes. I wonder what happens to the nukes if this happens?
Unlike the people of the past though, you can no longer simply pack up and move to an unsettled area, so we really have no choice.

PS. A thought just occured to me - we have become so soft as a society, that we roll over for anything now. This is very sad. The more we roll over too, the worse crimes get against the people from anything from terrorists to state control. I wonder how much worse it can get?
