Well, at the risk of taking this thread way off topic, (we probably already have, so I dont want to get into a whole debate...but..)...I think everybody understands that soldiers can and will die in combat. I think alot of people dont feel that american or british forces need to be there in the first place. Especially here in the US, alot of people feel a bit cheated. They dont view the war as a neccesity, and therefore dislike the idea of troops being sent into harms way without it being absolutly neccesary.

Again, I want to avoid hijacking this thread (too late! doh!), so if you want to discuss further via PM or on another thread, i'd be glad to.

Let me try to bring this thread back to its original topic by saying that regardless of anybosys politics, having these folks come home safe and without bloodshed is a good end to a bad event. Im glad it's over.
