From your comment it looks like your playing GWX v1.02....your boat will sink a couple of metres deeper than your chosen depth whilst at a standstill....THIS IS NO BUG,  IT IS INTENDED U-BOAT BEHAVIOUR 
Download v1.03 and you will find less likelihood of the aforementioned   |
