I've been too distracted to pay attention, but I did notice in SH3, when I had the CMSS upmix option turned on, my sounds were all funky-like. I'm about to go out on my second patrol though, so I'll check it out. (I've got the X-fi Music, and I think everythings updated driverwise, so as long as I put my headphones on right, I should have the same results.)

UPDATE:

My engines sound like they are in the bow as well, maybe somebody with different sound gear can confirm this is a SHIV thing, and not an X-Fi problem.
